Manufacturing

Our power cord manufacturing process starts in sales and engineering, where specs are ironed out to meet the expectations of those who know Kord King for its high-quality products. We ensure that every property of our USA-manufactured power cords will satisfy the needs of our customers. Our sales and engineering personnel have a wealth of knowledge and experience to advise how to tackle almost any project.

The process then goes to the shop floor where the most up-to-date equipment is utilized in a cellular production environment. This is why Kord King can deliver in days! Approximately 30 minutes after starting a job, the first pieces have been tested and packed.

All Kord King power cords are evaluated by a rigid statistical process program, employing MIL 105 in-process sampling techniques. Process control and continual training programs renew and refresh our commitment to total quality involvement. Before every shipment, 100% of our products are electrically tested and visually inspected.

Timely delivery within 1-2 weeks of receiving an order completes our
commitment to quality.

Quality

At Kord King, we pride ourselves on our everyday commitment to quality.

Our motto of “Starting with quality. . .ending with quality” is the foundation of both our manufacturing and customer service programs.

Our commitment to quality begins with the first interaction. Existing and prospective clients contact our customer service, sales, engineering, or accounting staff and receive timely responses and resolution of urgent requests. Whether customers need documentation, quotations, drawings and specs or billing statements, our people are here to help.

High-quality manufacturing requires high-quality materials, which are obtained from pre-approved vendors. Kord King has forged long-term, friendly business relationships with our most crucial suppliers as well as alternates. This ensures that Kord King can cover gaps in the supply chain without disruption. We then monitor every vendor shipment to assure compliance with quality standards, segregating any non-conforming material immediately.

Kord King further ensures quality by operator in-process inspection during manufacturing, which includes visual, electrical, dimensional, mechanical and tensile testing. Each operator is responsible for maintaining quality standards for his/her operation, and has “stop-the-job” authority.
